The type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) prescribing guidelines in adults is aimed for use by healthcare professionals within NHS South West London to support them with diagnosis and management.
The document has been produced following the publication of NICE guideline [NG28] Type 2 diabetes in adults: management and combines this national guidance with additional information, including diagnosis of T2DM, general principles to managing T2DM, local services and formulary medicine choices.
