Growth Hormones

The SWL growth hormone commissioning policy details the brands of growth hormones which have been commissioned across NHS SWL for use in children and adults.

  • Children: Prescribing in primary care for children is under the shared care guidelines: Growth hormone (Omnitrope and Genotrophin) for growth failure for children.
  • Adults: Prescribing of growth hormone in adults remains hospital only.
